Service Description: Provides short-term counselling, case management and advocacy to clients 
  • helps people with a range of concerns including income support, family and relationship issues, feelings of depression and anxiety, trauma counselling, coping with illness, and dealing with past or current problem of drug/alcohol use
  • offers up to 8 sessions * each counselling session lasts approximately 45 minutes
  • social workers help clients discover their own strengths, work with them to find suitable solutions to their problems, and access resources in the community

Application: Registration required
Eligibility / Target Population: Must be a registered client of LAMP CHC and referred by the provider * must not be currently accessing other counselling services * must not have access to unused private insurance
