Service Description: 142-bed long-term care home * residential care for 19 private rooms and 123 basic rooms * 24-hour nursing and personal care * access to a doctor and other health professionals
  • palliative care
  • bedding and furniture
  • laundry and housekeeping
  • meals
  • personal hygiene supplies
  • medical supplies and equipment (such as catheters, ostomy bags, or wound care supplies)
  • assistance with medication and activities of daily living
  • recreation and social programs

Special Behavior Support Unit (SBSU)
  • 19-bed unit for clients who have a primary diagnosis of dementia with significant behaviors that cannot be managed in the client's current environment
  • it is a transitional treatment unit and not intended to be a resource for emergency treatment

Additional services and facilities:
  • adult day service for people who are frail, have Alzheimer's disease, chronic illness or physical disabilities that require care
  • personal support services like baths and showers for older adults who cannot bathe safely in their own homes
  • chaplaincy/spiritual services available for residents
  • outdoor garden provides a safe environment for residents with dementia

Fees: Rates set by the Ontario Ministry of Long-Term Care * subsidies for basic rates may be available for eligible applicants
